Arthur C Clarke
The Arthur C Clarke Trust (formally known as the ‘Dr Arthur C Clarke Trust’) is a private trust registered and based in Sri Lanka, where the late Sir Arthur C Clarke lived since 1956.
It was originally created in 2001 to support and sustain Clarke’s passion for diving through his two companies, Underwater Safaris and Scuba Safaris.
His Last Will, disclosed upon his death in March 2008, designated the Trust as the sole legal custodian of his literary estate. This means that the intellectual property (including copyrights) of Arthur C Clarke’s writings, personal archives, images and audio-visual materials is vested in the Arthur C Clarke Trust in Sri Lanka. This official website is managed by the Trust.
